Currently, October 2018 I am . . .
Wearing makeup and jewelry for all these special occasions. I am usually a plain Jane kind of person. I prefer wearing very little makeup, jeans, a t-shirt and tennis shoes. And about the only jewelry I wear on a normal basis is a watch.
Collecting way more dresses than I usually do. With 2 weddings and all the activities that go along with that, my dress collection has expanded a little lately. My husband doesn’t quite understand that you have to have a different dress for each occasion!
Making fall inspired treats like these candy corn cookie bars.
Taking lots of clothes to the Women’s Shelter donation center. My son finally cleaned out his room so there is a pile of items to be donated – mainly clothes that he no longer wants or fits into.
Planning for wedding number 2 on November 17. The first wedding on September 8 was my daughter’s marriage. The second wedding in November will be my son’s marriage. Not nearly as much to do with this one – mainly because it is in town and there won’t be any travel involved!

I’m usually fairly plain Jane too, but it’s fun to have an excuse to dress up/put on real makeup every once in a while, isn’t it? Congrats on the weddings – what a lovely bride! Oh and I think I might need to try out those bars…
