Enchanting Rose 11th Teacup Exchange

Enchanting Rose 11th Teacup Exchange

The Enchanting Rose 11th Teacup Exchange took place this October. In this exchange I receive someone’s name to send gifts to.  Someone else receives my name to send me gifts. I don’t know if Stephanie planned this or not but both of the ladies I was connected to had food allergies/sensitivities! I’m not sure if that was a coincidence but it sure made it easier for all of us to select gifts! Thanks Stephanie! In addition, check out all the lovely gifts that were exchanged at The Enchanting Rose!

Gifts Given

First of all, I received Amy Fields name as my mug partner. She lives in Virginia and as I said has many food allergies. She likes to snack on dairy free dark chocolate and walnuts. Her favorite teas are English Breakfast and Earl Grey. Although her favorite colors are purple and yellow (such lovely spring colors!) I went with a fall theme in the gifts I gave. The first gift I bought was the mug which was decorated with a pumpkin. To go along with that,  I crocheted a pumpkin coaster and found a cute kitchen towel to match. No fall themed package would be complete without something “pumpkin spice” so I added some scented sachets.

Gifts Received

After I shipped off the gifts I had gathered, I anxiously awaited the arrival of my package. Within a few days mine arrived. Dee Peterson from Colorado had received my name. She avoids some of the same foods I do – gluten, dairy and sugar! Therefore, the gifts she sent were absolutely perfect! In the picture below you will notice the 2 gluten free cookies. She actually sent 3 but I had already eaten one by the time I took the picture! They were soooo delicious! And since the week they arrived was my birthday, they were the perfect birthday treat! The mug couldn’t have been more beautiful and came in the matching box! I love drinking peppermint tea around the holidays so I’m saving that.  And the Lily’s chocolate bar is sweetened with stevia – so perfect!

Also included in the package was a lovely book called “If Teacups Could Talk”. It is full of ideas for tea time with recipes that I will be adapting to fit my dietary needs. The doily was purchased at an antiques store in her area – the color matches the green in my bathroom so that is where it is now on display! All in all the Enchanting Rose 11th Teacup Exchange was a wonderful experience!

  1. Hello Roseann ~
I’ve come for a visit from my dear Stephanie’s party, so nice to “meet” you.
Dee certainly packaged up a lovely gift box for you, love the mug!
I have that “If tea cups could talk” book and absolutely love it.
I had the joy of going to a ladies conference in Canada over 25 years ago where Emilie Barnes was the guest speaker, I have never forgotten how wonderful that conference was. She is amazing!
I was given Dee’s name and shared a mug with her.

Your gift to Amy is wonderful too.

    Enjoy your treasures ♡

  2. Your mug is just one of the prettiest I have ever seen. Sweet goodies.

  3. I love the mug you sent out, and the coaster you made, as well. And what you received is so pretty! I love doilies, and the mug is just so nice! Enjoy! 🙂

  4. Small world, I participate in Stephanie’s tea and mug exchange as well. Stephanie does such an amazing job. I have had the pleasure of meeting her in person and yes, she hand picks every match. In addition to this she does her best to make sure you meet new people each time and don’t repeat. I have loved seeing all the treasures everyone gives and receives. I have posted about this as well if you are interested in stopping by. http://chascrazycreations.com/tea-cup-mug-exchange-reveal/

  5. Roseann, how lovely! I really must get my act together and participate in the next exchange. I’m not gluten- or dairy-free myself, but some of my friends are, so I’ve developed lots of “-free” recipes. I eat sugar, but in very limited amounts, so I make desserts with less sugar and practice strict portion control!

And oh, what a lovely mug from Dee! The colors are ever so sweet and feminine.

Thank you for joining the exchange. Hugs to you! Stephanie-The Enchanting Rose

  9. What great exchange. Both the gift you gave and the one you received were so thoughtful.

  10. Both gifts given and gifts received are lovely – I’m especially enamored of the cup you received and would love to have an entire tea service in that pattern!

  11. I’m sure that Amy was delighted with the fall-themed package that you sent her. The pumpkin coaster is adorable. The floral mug that you received is very pretty!

  12. Sounds as though you had the perfect partners! Dietary restrictions aren’t always easy so it’s wonderful that so much thought went into the gifts that were exchanged. Another reason to love the swap!

  13. Hello from Pink Saturday! I loved this mug exchange earlier in the year and I would bet Stephanie knew exactly who best to pair you up with regard to food allergies/sensitivities, she is amazing like that. As are the parcels that you sent and received, it is part of the fun to choose some special items – loved your pumpkin you made! What I have really loved also is the ongoing connections with the ladies I have met through this exchange.
Have a great week and enjoy your cuppa!

  14. What a lovely feminine mug (and matching round box, how neat!) you received in your teacup exchange! And that is one of my very favorite teacup books, and I have been collecting them for years and years. Sandy L. Clough’s Kind Chats website is how I found my best tea sister friends, golly, maybe 15 years ago or more?

I love the autumn mug you sent – it’s so perfectly themed for this time of year!

  15. Roseann, these are some lovely things that you sent to Amy…that mug is just gorgeous! And oh my , what a beautiful mug you received from Dee! I sent her a teacup package! Such a blessing it is being able to participate in this wonderful exchange…Stephanie amazes me how she can pull these all off! Have a blessed week!

  16. What a pretty gift for the teacup exchange. I participate a few years ago, so fun to receive the package and to put one together. Thank you for sharing on Oh My Heartsie Girls WW this past week.

    Wishing you a great week!
