Styling – hmmm this is a hard one. The word styling and me don’t exactly go hand in hand. I am probably one of the least picky people around. The furniture in my house was all purchased by my husband before we were married. I’ve had the same hair style for quite a few years and I don’t really like to go shopping for new clothes. If you count putting up Halloween decorations then that’s what I’m “styling” in my home!

Saving glass bottles and jars (although not too many yet). My daughter thinks she might use them for decorations for the tables at her wedding reception. Possibly spraying them rose gold and adding glitter? No definite plan has been made but it’s a possibility. Maybe something like this but with random bottles.

Searching for a new free online picture editing tool. Since PicMonkey wants to charge to use their service I’m going to quit using them. I’m kind of a cheapskate! I found one I think I like called iPiccy. Has anyone else used this? It seems user friendly and everything is free, at least right now.

Picking up lots and lots of apples at the grocery store! Honeycrisp are my favorite and this is the only time they are in season. So as soon as they go on sale I start stocking up. They are a little on the expensive side but oh so worth it!

Making all things pumpkin spice – cupcakes, cookies, . . . I’m also about to make an ornament. I joined the ornament exchange at My Pinterventures. She is currently pairing participants up and the reveal and link up is November 16.

  1. Thanks for the heads up about iPiccy. I’ve never tried it, but will do so soon!
And those jars are lovely! I have a soft spot in my heart for canning jars since I actually use them to can!

  2. Love the rose gold bottle arrangements! I have a collection of bottle in my kitchen, especially like the ones with raised lettering. It’s nice to always have a “vase” the right size for fresh cut flowers from the yard.

  3. I love those painted jars! What a fun project and lovely wedding idea.

  4. I didn’t know Picmonkley was going to charge!
I love the rose gold vases with flowers. I have two daughters getting married next year so I am always on the lookout for inexpensive things that are pretty or that my girls would like.
I have been overwhelmed with work so I haven’t done any fall decorating. I need to rethink, I do like the change of seasons.

  5. apples and pumpkin are in great demand at our house right now as well

  7. I love the bottles. However, I am a total mason jar freak so it totally speaks to me.

  8. Oh gosh, honeycrisp apples are my absolute favorite. Totally worth the price!
