Patriotic Crocheted Dish Cloth

Patriotic Crocheted Dish Cloth

This patriotic crocheted dish cloth takes no time at all to whip up! I am not the most experienced at crocheting and my projects aren’t always perfect. But I do like to keep my hands busy while watching television or traveling in the car. And small projects like this dish cloth are quick and easy! If you need directions on how to half-double crochet, check out this great tutorial by Lion Brand Yarn.

Row 16: Half-double crochet 18 stitches across with navy. Switch to white and half-double crochet the rest of the way across.

Repeat rows 13-16 two more times. Then do row 13-14 one additional time.

You should have 7 red stripes and 6 white stripes.

Switch to white and single crochet all the way around your project to finish it off, crocheting 3 single crochets in each corner.

To Finish:

Add stars in the navy section by using white yarn and a yarn needle. I just sewed 3 lines for each star.

Weave ends in using yarn needle.
